Job Description

We are excited to invite enthusiastic and skilled speech-language pathologists to join our team at a private K-12 school in Cherokee County. This part-time position requires in-person attendance for two days a week, totaling 10 hours. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in supporting students across various grade levels by providing assessments, therapy, and consultation services tailored to their speech and language development. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights on students’ speech and language goals.
  • Stay informed about best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Georgia SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and families.
